We recently announced our brand-new luxury development, Waterbank in Prestbury. The three-acre site will initially consist of five contemporary homes, with a sixth home following at a later date. Located on Heybridge Lane, the development is nestled in picturesque woodland and has been designed to blend seamlessly with nature.
We will be starting work on site soon, with final completion expected summer 2023, but what happens behind the scenes before construction has started?
We wanted to give you a behind-the-scenes look at how this project got started…
The original plans were produced by Annabelle Tugby Architects and CW Studios in Manchester. Each home has been designed to sit between tree protection areas and blend in with the surroundings.
Meticulously scaled hand-made models were used throughout the design process to allow us a more in-depth view of the site. This means we will know the site and each plot like the back of our hand before it’s built.
Final construction plans are being developed by architects, Calderpeel, who will lead the project through to final construction. Landscape architects, Barnes Walker, will help us to transform the development into a beautiful, green oasis.
Building on success
Though this is our first development in Prestbury, Altin’s track record through Cheshire speaks for itself. We’ve previously worked with both Calderpeel and Barnes Walker on No. 1 Hilltop in Hale, and most recently Bank Farm Grove in Holmes Chapel.
No.1 Hilltop remains our most ambitious project to date. Located on one of Hale’s most sought-after avenues, the property showcases our exceptional attention to detail, remarkable architecture, and immaculate design. Our hard work paid off with No.1 Hilltop, receiving the UK Property Award for Best Residential Property in Cheshire in 2019.
