Altrincham-based property development company, Altin Homes will next month break ground on its latest development, a new site on Heybridge Lane in Prestbury. The site has planning for five contemporary 4-bedroom homes, each to be built on a circa half acre plot. A sixth property will follow at a later date.
Altin Homes is well known for its luxury developments in south Manchester with one of their most recent projects, No.1 Hilltop in Hale marketed for sale with a £5.5M price tag.
Reference to the Prestbury Design Guide has resulted in a design of low density housing that reflects the natural habitat and the local town environment. The homes at the site, Waterbank, will feature striking window detailing with accommodation laid out over three floors. As befitting the homes’ contemporary elevations, the internal layouts allow for open plan family living. The large, abstract windows take full advantage of the stunning backdrop of mature trees and an existing water feature.
The original designs were produced by Annabelle Tugby Architects and landscape architect Carolyn Willitts of CW Studios in Manchester. Final construction plans are now being developed by Calderpeel and Barnes Walker.
Design director of Altin Homes, Yousef Mousavi said “Prestbury is one of the most picturesque, idyllic villages in all of Cheshire. The team and I are excited to bring this stunning development to the renowned village.
“There is a huge amount of architectural detailing on these properties that will allow us to showcase our expertise and the attention to detail we lavish on each home we create.”
The first properties will be completed by the end of next year with site completion expected in the summer of 2023. Prices will be in the region of £2.25M-£2.45M.
